Le bureau de l’Assemblée nationale a accordé, ce mardi 17 août 2021, pour la 3ème fois un délai supplémentaire aux confessions religieuses afin de trouver un consensus sur la désignation du président de la Commission électorale nationale indépendante (CENI) ainsi qu’un des membres de la plénière de cette centrale électorale.
D’après Christophe Mboso, cette décision permettra aux confessions religieuses de dégager un compromis.
« Soucieux de trouver un compromis sur la désignation du président de la CENI par les confessions religieuses, un délai supplémentaire de 48 heures leur avait été accordé. A cet effet, délai qui expire ce mardi 17 août 2021. Tenant compte de certaines contraintes exprimées par le président de la plateforme de confessions religieuses à sa correspondance du 16 août 2021, votre bureau a accédé à sa demande en accordant un nouveau délai. Ce délai court de mardi 17 au jeudi 19 août« , a déclaré le président de l’Assemblée nationale.
Par la même occasion, Christophe Mboso a révélé que la Commission paritaire sur la CENI aura également un délai supplémentaire pour son travail d’examen des candidatures des membres de la future CENI.
« À l’issue des concertations avec les confessions religieuses, un délai de 48 heures leur avait été accordé. En conséquence, la commission paritaire doit bénéficier d’un délai supplémentaire« , a-t-il ajouté.
